Innovative Marine Structures was formed in 2010 by Perry Lawrence, a seasoned construction and structural concrete professional.  Since then, IMS has developed a solid reputation throughout Boca Grande, Cape Haze, and western Charlotte County.  IMS clients tend to be a discerning group - who demand only the finest, something different, something.....well,innovative.

In early 2015, IMS moved into our largest facility to date in Port Charlotte.  With over 6000ft. of manufacturing space set on a 2.5 acre property, we are now set for the next phase of growth.  IMS specializes in creating unique marine solutions for its customers and counts customer referrals as our greatest source of future business.

Other recent additions further our coverage from Sarasota through Burnt Store Marina areas, including all of Charlotte Harbor.  Building out a number of portable barges, adding additional crews and support teams, we can be more flexible and responsive than ever.
